MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FIGHT AGAINST ANTISEMITISM

Antisemitism is not an abstract problem. It’s a daily reality, showing up in classrooms, campuses, community spaces and city streets. The frontlines of this fight are not in Washington, but in City Hall, and mayors are on the front lines.

That’s why more than 300 mayors and municipal leaders from across North America will gather in New Orleans this December for the 2025 North American Mayors Summit Against Antisemitism, hosted by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) and the City of New Orleans.

As antisemitism and hate-fueled extremism rise at an alarming pace, the role of municipal leaders has never been more urgent. This summit is a call to action. It is a dynamic, high-impact, bipartisan convening where mayors and city officials will come together to share strategies, forge partnerships, and chart a path forward for cities to confront antisemitism with clarity and purpose.

Because it is the responsibility of every mayor to ensure that residents feel safe walking down the street, attending school, worshiping freely, and living openly as who they are.

At the Summit, mayors will gain:

    • Practical playbooks with model ordinances and sample resolutions
    • Tools to track and respond to antisemitic incidents in real time
    • Law enforcement training resources to strengthen reporting and community trust
    • Coalition-building strategies to bring communities together
    • Crisis communication guidance to help cities speak clearly and act decisively in moments of hate
    • Peer roundtables organized by city size, so leaders can share what works in communities like theirs

New Orleans, a city with its own history of resilience and recovery, provides the perfect backdrop for this urgent and action-driven gathering.  Building on the momentum of past summits in Fort Lauderdale and Beverly Hills, the 2025 Summit is a chance to learn, share, and leave with concrete steps to drive real change and strengthen your city against antisemitism and hate through tangible city-led action.

Attendees will also become part of CAM’s year-round municipal network, gaining access to resources like the Municipal Antisemitism Action Index to measure impact, adopt best practices, and lead safer, stronger communities.

Real change starts here, where mayors unite to protect their residents, to build communities rooted in safety, dignity, and unity, and to turn the tide against antisemitism.

We hope you'll join us in New Orleans this December.
